HISTORY

The design of Key-Cap has been created by Fabrice de Gol, garage owner in St. Maurice, who has been regularly confronted with breakdowns due to misfueling. A solution had to be found.

He presented the idea to his brother, Patrice de Gol, mechanical engineer, who very enthusiastically embarked on finding a technical solution. He created a cap that remains locked when using the “unleaded petrol” gun (small diameter), but opens with the diesel gun (larger diameter).

With this reliable solution, it is no longer possible to fill a car tank with the wrong fuel. Furthermore, this cap is leakproof and screwed onto the tank, so no need to unscrew it at every fill.

Key-Cap has been awarded the ACS (Automobile Club Suisse) Prize, the public Prize & the Gold Medal with special congratulations from the Jury of the 38th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2010.
